01 / What I do

I believe that there is beauty in simplicity, especially when it comes to tech. If a system has become messy and complicated to change, I can help, whether that is code or architecture.

More about me and my work

Engineering. At Reward Gateway, I was Head of Quality Engineering and later Principal Quality Engineer, working hands-on on AI evaluation and release readiness.

  • My experience spans defence and intelligence data systems, retail at peak scale, collaboration software and global SaaS used by millions.
  • I work primarily in Python, JavaScript, TypeScript and C#, and hold a BSc (Hons) in Internet Engineering from the University of Exeter.

Speaking. In 2024, I spoke at BrowserStack in London on Observable Test Automation at Scale, including the GenAI pull-request review work described in the case study.

Outside engineering. My interests include audio engineering and electronic music production. I previously held a residency at EGG London and hosted a DJ show on AAJA Radio.
